An explosion proof 11 kW MaxVac Compact unit with an intercept hopper is used to clean the whole mill. The suction unit and the intercept hopper are connected to permanently installed pipeline systems so that the cleaning work can be done fast and effectively. The suction material can be transported over distances of up to 100 m.

The ceiling of a corn silo is cleaned with an IS-36 M Atex 3D. The unit is certified according to Atex to be used in zone 22.
