Sailing

Air technology and sailing - a natural combination. Sailors use the power of the wind to create propulsion. We use air movement to transport suction material with our units. This is a fascinating subject and therefore it was an obvious decision for us to get involved with sailing. This is certainly a different aspect of air technology than the one we need for our daily, successful work. But it gives us a chance to use our expertise in the fascinating world of wind, water and the white sport.

Since the start of the season 2008, Team Wieland has been sailing in the Conger class. For this, we are supporting two young sailors from our region who are 100% committed. Peter Hoesl and Florian Schwarzenberger are sailing for Wieland in a Conger two-man dinghy. Their ambition in the medium term is nothing less than to win the German Championship. It is our mission to support them over the coming years as a reliable partner on their way to the top.
